Best Venue Award: VIECON Wins 2025

The “Best Venue” award at the Austrian Event Award 2025 recognizes excellence in infrastructure, processes, and collaboration – factors that are highly valued by VIECON’s clients.

The award ceremony at the Design Center Linz brought together several hundred industry professionals. In total, projects were recognized across eight categories, along with several special awards.

With 163 submissions, the level of competition was higher than ever, resulting in many closely contested decisions.

Beyond the awards themselves, the evening served as a key meeting point for exchange, conversations, and insights into current industry developments.

Also present was Uschi Huber, Managing Director of RTK Round Table Konferenzhotels. RTK acted as partner of the special award “Best Event Location.”

Successful Events at VIECON

Outstanding events hosted at VIECON further underline its strong position in the international congress segment. The EuroPerio11 congress, submitted by STEINER Live in collaboration with Mondial Congress & Events and held at the VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Center in May 2025 for the European Federation of Periodontology, received the “Best Congress 2025” award. In addition, the ESCMID congress was nominated – another clear signal of the venue’s relevance in the global congress market.
