Since September, Sarah Staudinger-Dobias has taken over the leadership of the Sales division at VIECON Messe Wien. She has been part of the company for many years and brings extensive experience working with national and international event organizers. In her new role, she aims to strategically further develop the sales function and make VIECON’s strengths as a leading event venue in Vienna even more visible.

From Project Work to Strategic Leadership

For over a decade, Sarah has accompanied VIECON’s development – from hands-on client support to shaping larger projects. Now, as Head of Sales, she combines long-standing industry expertise with a clear focus on processes. “I want to create a framework in which our team can succeed every day and clients experience VIECON as a reliable partner,” she emphasizes.

Focusing on Opportunities Through Repositioning

In the coming months, Sarah plans to leverage the opportunities arising from VIECON’s strategic repositioning. This involves smartly using existing resources and developing formats that strengthen Vienna’s international profile as a congress and trade fair destination. “The combination of flexible infrastructure, hospitality, and our experience is a unique selling point for VIECON. I want to showcase this combination even more externally.”

Sarah places particular importance on proximity to clients – from the first inquiry to successful event execution.
