VIECON is fully accessible on all levels, ensuring unrestricted access for all guests.

Public Transport

Both underground stations, Messe-Prater and Krieau, are equipped with lifts in addition to escalators and stairs, providing step-free access between platform and street level.

Parking

At the main entrances as well as in all parking garages, designated accessible parking spaces are available. All levels can be reached by lift, and drop-off zones (including taxi drop-off points) are located directly in front of the entrances.

Doors, Lifts & Stairs

All entrance areas are step-free and accessible at ground level. Doors leading to and within the venue offer wider openings and increased clearance to accommodate different mobility needs. In addition to escalators and stairs, lifts provide access to all levels throughout VIECON.

Accessible Toilets

Accessible toilets are available on every level of the venue. These are unisex facilities and are equipped with an emergency call system. Access is provided exclusively via the Euro key system.

Facilities for Visitors with Visual Impairments

All foyers are equipped with tactile floor indicators.
The floor panels in the lifts feature Braille buttons to support independent orientation.

Guide and Assistance Dogs

Guide and assistance dogs are permitted in public transport as well as in accommodation and catering establishments in accordance with legal regulations. A valid ID, vaccination record, and the official identification of the assistance dog must be carried at all times.
